The marker gesture
Rounded strokes, uneven pressure and restrained pen accidents preserve the movement of left-handed writing. LeftyNote suits personal notes, expressive headlines, classroom materials and informal annotations.
Two real weights
Regular 400 and Bold 700 share the same handwriting vocabulary. Contextual alternates vary repeated letters and figures; ligatures and stylistic sets offer further gestures.
Numbers and notation
Lining, oldstyle, proportional and tabular figures sit alongside fractions, small numerals, combining marks and selected Greek and mathematical symbols. Mathematical signs retain intentional proportional widths; there is no advanced OpenType MATH layout table.
Version 1.002 Beta 2 review
This 1.002 Beta 2 uses the stronger Bold, rebuilt OpenType features and corrected capital parentheses and brackets. Purchased packages include both weights for desktop and web, the tier license and A4/Letter font books. Delivery is through Polar; broader application and editable-document embedding workflows remain unverified.

Usage
Web (CSS)
Declare the two static weights separately. Use font-synthesis: none so browsers select the real faces. Preserve native spacing and allow enough line height for accents and descenders.

Enable kern, liga and calt for the default handwriting rhythm. Compare ss01 and ss02 in the specimen, and use tnum for aligned numbers or frac for slash-separated fractions.
Desktop and embedding
Install purchased OTF files and select LeftyNote Beta Regular or Bold in your application. Existing Preview & Print embedding flags are preserved; final editable-document workflow acceptance is pending. The downloadable trial installs separately as LeftyNote Beta Trial and excludes accents and most symbols; use it only for evaluation under its included license.

LeftyNote has two static styles: Regular 400 and Bold 700. Select the real Bold face rather than synthetic bold.
Contextual alternates and ligatures are enabled by default. Try repeated letters, dates, fractions and the two stylistic sets.
Selected Greek and mathematical symbols support informal notation. This is not a complete Greek-language family or an OpenType MATH layout font.
Version 1.002 Beta 2 is available at 50% off during development. Buy the license that fits your use; desktop and web fonts are delivered securely through Polar. The final version is included for free under the same license tier. A free Regular + Bold evaluation trial is available; accents and most symbols are excluded.
